Almost a year has passed...

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted. There are quite a few updates that I have been meaning to post but never quite had the extra few minutes to do so until now.

Mackenzie continues to change each and every day. It's still so hard to believe that she once weighed only 3 lbs 13 oz. and spent her days sleeping. She is now up to 14lbs 11oz and is a little speed demon using her new mode of transportation....crawling. In addition to crawling, she is starting to understand kisses and even claps on occasion.

In a little less than one month our little peanut will be turning 1! It really is true what people say..."Time flies!" I have to admit that I'm a little sad to see her growing up so fast. Now that she is on the move, she isn't as interested in snuggling with Mommy on the sofa. Turning 1 is also a big event at school as well. Mackenzie will start to transition to the one year old room around her birthday. Mommy is really nervous about the transition as they only take one, scheduled nap in the one year old room (between 12:30-2:30). And their naps aren't in cribs, they are on cots! We are very fortunate that Mackenzie still takes 3 naps a day. I'm not sure how well the transition is going to go. Only time will tell.....
