Double the fun...

Andy and I got a taste of what it was like to have two kids on Saturday....we babysat our good friend's daughter, Giada, while they went out of town for the day. So, needless to say, a 10 month old and a 17 month old sure do keep you on your toes! But, we loved every minute.

We were fortunate to have a gorgeous day to be able to get outside and burn off some energy. So, we started the afternoon off at Overlook Park. Muzzy and Grandpop came along to help entertain the kids at the park. Mackenzie and Giada loved going for a walk, swinging on the swings, and going down all of the slides. The fresh air and all of the activity was enough to tire them both out! They both came home and took a 1 1/2 hour nap!!

After nap time we headed out to Panera for dinner. I think we got lots of looks when people saw 4 adults (Muzzy, Grandpop, Andy, and Melissa) and 3 kids (Carter-3 months, Mackenzie-10 months, and Giada-17 months). I think i would've stared too! But, once again, all of the kids were great. They ate well and even behaved themselves!

So glad we could help out good friends and have Giada over to hang out with Mackenzie. We all enjoyed the company! Looking forward to the next time!
